The amended Accountancy Profession Regulations published in January 2009 lay down, amongst others, important changes to the Indemnity Insurance provisions which come into force on 1 January 2010. The Institute has issued an Information Paper entitled TECH02/09 Professional Indemnity Insurance Requirements under the Accountancy Profession Act and subsidiary legislation. The scope of this Information Paper is to remind Members of these amendments, their respective applicability, as well as some practical implications arising therefrom.
